 This is the debut album from Swedish band Lipz. Really have to say that it´s a very promising first release. It´s not mind blowing and gut kicking, but it´s still really great modern Glam Metal that these guys are bringing us. Scaryman has a really high level of top nudge tracks that can take the band far.

 They have made their homework and studied the blueprint of how Glam Metal in the 80´s was made. They have the big catchy sing a long choruses and head nodding melodies. The up tempo is contagious and just invites to having a party. Course that is what the Glam Metal scene is all about, having a ball, parties and girls. At least if you should trust most of the lyrics from Glam Metal bands. But in the defence of Glam Metal, with all the shit that goes on in the world why not. We all need a free zone were we can leave all our troubles behind for a while.

 Lipz invites you to an all night party and you should all come! With songs like “Falling Away”, “Get Up On The Stage”, “Trouble In Paradise” and title track “Scaryman” it´s bound to be a great party. The album closes with the acoustic ballad “Every time I Close My Eyes” as a lullaby for you.

 I sure hope we will hear more from Lipz in a not to far off future and that they by then has taken another step on the ladder to success. So I urge you to check these guys out and give the a chance.
